The Hexham band
We currently have 25 full members of the Guild. We have an
AGM in February or March at which our officers are elected and at which
people may join the Guild. We usually have a few 1 day ringing outings each
year, and a 1 week summer camping trip. The band has a strong social life and
most ringers may be found in the Tap & Spile in Hexham after the practice
on a Thursday.
Joining the band
If you are someone who lives in
or near Hexham who would like to learn to ring, then get in touch with the
Tower Captain, who will arrange for you to come and observe a practice or
two, and discuss the level of commitment required and the practicalities of
tuition.
If you are a ringer who has
recently moved to the area, you would be welcome to come to one of our
